FREE Pedicab Rides

Experience the festival in a whole new motion! Artscape is excited to announce FREE pedicab rides during festival hours (Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21 from 11am-9pm; Sunday, July 22 from 11am-7pm). Come check out parts of the festival you may be missing at the “top of the hill” – more Artists’ Market vendors, local bands on the Morgan State University Festival Stage, visual arts exhibits and performing arts (bonus: those are in air-conditioned indoor venues), food and beverages, a new Silent Disco, and more!

Pedicab rides take place on Mt. Royal Avenue, between Maryland Avenue and Lafayette Ave. There are two hubs to get in line for pedicab rides:

Hub #1 – Mt. Royal Ave at Maryland Ave, northwest corner by the Lyric (rides go north, up to Morgan State University Festival Stage/Lafayette Avenue)

Hub #2 – Mt. Royal Ave at Lafayette Ave, southest corner by MICA’s Cohen Plaza (rides go south, to the Lyric/Maryland Avenue)

Looking to meet up with friends and family while you’re at Artscape? Use the Morgan State University Festival Stage, the official meet up space of Artscape, as a point of reference. Look for the 8’ tall Artscape picture frame just south of the stage (great selfie/photo op!). And, to get there is easy – hop on Artscape’s free pedicab rides!

Pets

We know you love your furbabies, but pets are not allowed at the festival. Attracting over 350,000 attendees over three days – in July – the large crowds and high temperatures are hazardous for our four-legged friends.

Bag Policy

In order to provide a safer environment for the public, Artscape encourages festival-goers to use bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC (polyvinyl chloride).

Questions? Email the Artscape staff before, during or after the festival.
